The Cons put the blame on Clinton
The Libs say the blame's on Bush
Somewhere Osama's still breathing
Perhaps in the Hindu Kush
But another Election is upon us
And for Trillions of Dollars they fight
The Libs and the Cons point their fingers
And the Irony is, they're both right
So while you endure their commercials
Lamenting their slinging of mud
Remember, the price of their labors
Is measured in Dollars AND Blood
And lest you believe for a minute
The outcomes have been worth the cost
In addition to the digits and bodies
The nation's soul has been lost
