'tis an adage so old, it's cliche'
but applies more than ever, today
in coxtext, text's to and fro
'tis best, to write 'what you know'
'what you know' may make a good read
it may potentially cause you to bleed
for the record to serve
thus requires some nerve
to put pen to paper indeed
so always take care where you go
and in timing the ebb and the flow
so that you're not burned
by the things that you've learned
lest you come to regret 'what you know'
