The Ambiguity Dance in verse

At first sight and sound and touch
The mind confused as never such
The body knows it means so much
As hormones start their surging

The dance begins to set the pace
So many answers there to chase
Questions to discard/embrace
At one another's urging

In each others glow you bask
Communication is the task
So much to learn, to tell, to ask
To clear the new confusion

To thine own self you must be true
To give the other their proper due
How easily to misconstrue
Amidst such chemical infusion

For in the affections' desperation
But from the moment's hesitation
Leads to a misinterpretation
That must be immediately rectified

Else a fiery cataclysm
Follow from the newfound schism
Leading down to criticism
Unless hormones and wisdom override

And then the fundamental key
That opens all the doors you see
'Tis loving Reciprocity
To breach the stratosphere

As in sight becomes the heavens
You've rolled so many lucky sevens
But can't tell the ones from elevens
'Tis then that the danger's most near

Your character will be your fate
To boldy go or hesitate
Decide soon 'for it's too late
Delusions also beckon

To take the chance and risk it all
Always knowing you might fall
Upon your truest self you call
To make the final reckon

Then ever higher toward the stars
Lessons learned from many scars
Somewhere out there, way past Mars
The ambiguity fades away

With recognition and acceptance of faults
Enmities stay locked in vaults
The kinetic dance becomes a waltz
As a perpetual symphony does play
