Dennis Miller's rant is now over ten years old, but it is still memorable, in part because it can be applied to headlines nearly everyday. Today's example.
ISRAELI FORCES INVADE LEBANON
Only ISRAEL could find a way to attack and retreat at the same time. Projecting Aircraft,Tanks, and Soldiers beyond it's "borders" while simultaneously building a wall and dismantling undefendable outposts. Fulfilling their original function from 1948 as 'agents provocateur' for the Western powers in the Arab world.
Today's actions, on top of the past two weeks, will fill Cheney's friends pockets with even more billions, while doing the same for Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, etc. and providing a welcome distraction for the W administration from U.S. failures and atrocities in Iraq, the Iraqi's failure to quell Baghdad, and as a bonus, Iran and North Korea continue to provide the stimulus for future 'anti-missile' missile sales.
C.L.O.P.T. works like a charm everytime, and the American people fall for it over and over again, just like Charlie Brown when Lucy bids him toward the football. And any similarities between Israel and Jack Rubenstein are entirely "coincidental".
